Selecting a name for a band
And no matter how you feel
It's what you do that matters

"We're Mystic Spiral. But we're thinking of changing our name." Trent (from Daria)
If you're in a band, it's funny how much time name-choosing takes up.
"Right, we've got the drummer, the guitarist, the bass, the keys and the singer. We've got our amps and mixing gear and sound dude. Now all we need is a name."
"What's your set like?"
"Oh, we don't have one yet, we'll make it up as we go along. Welcome to the world of professional musicianship."

Names always take up too much time for what they are for Bands. Especially Christian bands. It doesn't really matter what the band is called cause people will get the name wrong anyway. Mind you I wouldn't call it "death's metal satan witchcraft murders asociation" and expect to get a lot of church gigs either. But within reason the name isn't what makes the band. The Band is what makes the name.
